Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to our Dada! We love our Dada so much! He takes care of us and makes life wonderful. We decided to give him his prizes a day early. He received a new weed eater and lots of homemade goodies. My favorite present was the fun card we made him at zazzle.com.

Summer Fun!

Wow...what can I say? Five mommies, three toddlers, and four babies at Chick-fil-A! Boy were they glad to see us go! Hanging out and catching up during the summer is so much fun...for the adults and kids! When everyone starts crying, that's usually our cue to leave!!!

Day of the Arts!

Our Friday (June 15th)  started off wonderfully with a trip to the Wee Kids Theater at the BJCC. Connor and I met some of our best buddies there to watch Three Billy Goats Gruff. This play was very appropriate for us since Connor and I are always referring to one another as "stinky ole trolls"....odd nickname, I agree! The play was perfect for 3 year olds, and afterward we got to meet the characters. We then headed off to tour Evie's new school, Jefferson Christian Academy (Yea!!) Thank the Lord for answered prayers! Afterwards, Connor and I were getting pretty tired, however we were on the lookout for a "treasure store" where Captain Connor could purchase a long-awaited treasure chest. We found one and headed home. It was a date night for Mommy and Dada (Yea...Todd Snider!), and Miss Shelby came to play with Connorman! Fun Stuff!!!

What a fun time we are having. We arrived in HHI yesterday evening in the midst of a tropical storm (score!). It was pretty yucky, but we still managed to make it to the ocean and the pool for about 5 minutes. Connor didn't really like it too much since we could barely see through the wind and rain. Thanks to Jesus (Connor and I prayed hard), the weather was beautiful when we finally made it out of bed this morning. Connor was so elated to go to the beach. Our guess was that he was going to love the pool, but as usual we were wrong. Connor couldn't get enough of the ocean! He and Dada played hard all day (while Mommy and Evie chilled under Papa's tent). After a memorable day in the sand, we headed to one of our favorite restaurants, San Miguel's. Yummy food, dancing, and live youngster entertainment equaled a wonderful end to a great day.

 Are we there yet??? I'm ready to see the tropical storm!

 Our only family picture of the whole trip! Connor has referred to Bradley and me as Pirate Mommy and Pirate Dada the entire trip so we decided to sign up for Shannon Tanner's Most Excellent Pirate Adventure! What fun we had!!

Having a crafty teacher as a mommy pays off. Connor was the only pirate with a beard! Pirates do not get much more handsome than this! Luckily, his scraped eye goes perfectly with his pirate attire (he fell off the bed...in the middle of the night).

Shannon Tanner teaches the children to talk pirate. He tells them all about his ship that was stolen by another pirate. The new crew must take the ship over and find also find the stolen treasure!

Slimy Slim finally surrenders the treasure, after being shot from his boat! The treasure gets placed on our boat and all the children share it.

After the crew had taken back Pirate Tanner's ship, the ransacked Pirate Frosty's candy store in search of chocolate wrapped in gold!!!

Connor was a dancing fool at Uncle Kevin's 30th birthday party! The weekend started off with our first flight as a family -in a plane sent especially for us!!! Connor was so excited, and he held Mommy's hand for take off (because I was a little scared)! We spent our first night with Ree Ree and G-dada in Brookhaven. Then it was time for the big party on Saturday! Uncle Kevin was very excited to see everyone. The party was a night to be remembered-lots of fun memories made!

We're Tickled Pink!

It's not twins! We are excited to announce that Baby Smith is a sweet little girl! Bradley, Connor, and I waited anxiously all day to find out! Baby Evie was moving about like crazy while we checked for all 10 fingers and 10 toes! Connor's prediction of  "a boy and a girl" turned out to be incorrect...Hooray for us! We are so pleased to finally know. Time for shopping!
